Aesthetic Prosthetics is proud to be able to supply the services of the DCS CAD/CAM crown coping production process. We can offer a accurate, versatile and cost effective coping production technique.
The no touch principle.
The system combines all the advantages of computer aided processing regardless of the material and with hitherto unmatched precision. The underlying concept is contact-free measurement of the prepared tooth model using a laser scanner. The basic system comprises of Preciscan laser scanner and Precimill CAM multi-tool dental milling centre.
As accurate as a Swiss Watch! The preciscan laser measures 300,000 points per minute, unlike some other digital systems, this is done completely optically so no physical touch is made upon the prep. This means no physical distortion or abrasion of the prep. and ultimately the very best fit for your restoration.
Maximum flexibility
The Preciscan laser can optically measure up to 14 preps. in one single operation, so this means not just single crowns, but highly complex bridge-work too! A choice of materials for machined copings adds to the flexibility to maximize the physical requirements of each individual restoration.
The very best material choices for the ultimate system.
DC-Zirkon ‘The pure Ceramic’
A high-tech pure zirconium oxide based ceramic developed specifically for CNC (computer numerically controlled) manufacture of crown and bridge frameworks. Means the ultimate in all ceramic restorations.
DC-Titan ‘The lightweight Metal’
A high strength pure Titanium block to allow the CNC milling of the very strongest crown and bridgework. Titanium is a well-proven physical and biocompatible material extensively described in standard literature.
DC-Tell –The fibre reinforced Polyamide’
An aesthetically attractive and very cost effective metal free dental restoration material at affordable prices. DC-Tell is a polyamide reinforced with short glass fibres composite. This material has excellent biocompatibility and bonding strength to composite veneering systems.
Optimum turn around and cost effective
Unlike some other CAD CAM / CNC systems, DCS Precident is geared towards your business. Because multiple scans are possible the processing time is fast! The Precimill can machine up to 30 units at one go. All milling operations are conducted in Australia, so no three-week turn arounds! We aim to process a complete restoration in five days from picking up your work to fitting!
We are confident of providing you with quality in a time and at a cost that will ensure you can recommend the benefits of DCS and Aesthetic Prosthetics, to your patient. Thus improving the cost effectiveness of your practice.
